Fantasy Football Update Week 3
In the keeper league, X-15 (3-0) narrowly defeated the Iron Toothpicks, 81.85 - 75.63. Daunte Culpepper rebounded from his craptastic performances in the first two weeks by throwing for 300 yards and 3 touchdowns. Terrell Owens and Cadillac Williams also continued their stellar fantasy seasons. X-15's win streak now stands at 19 games. This week X-15 takes on HollyWood Frenzy (3-0) for sole possession of first place.
I made two trades in week 3. The first trade brought Larry Johnson over from Seven's Splash for Domanick Davis and Reggie Williams. The second trade brought Mewelde Moore from BigSchmuck for Derrick Blaylock.
In the re-draft league, The Intruders were downed by Erv's team, 98.14 - 93.00. I can't fault any of the players for the loss this week. Unfortunately, we faced LT on the week he ran for 3 touchdowns and passed for one.
Injury Report: No serious injuries reported. However, Trevor Pryce from the Denver Broncos is claiming that Priest Holmes is playing hurt. If the Pryce is right (that's for you Mr. Allen) I am very happy I made that deal for LJ last week.
