Sosa getting sued

Sammy is getting sued by a law firm that contends he owes more than $22,000 for work in resolving tax disputes with the IRS. According to the lawsuit, Sosa and his agent paid bills from April 2001 through last October but did not make any further payments as required once the tax cases were settled in U.S. Tax Court in December.

By the way, Sosa is currently on the DL. This season he is batting .221 with 14 homeruns and 45 RBIs. His replacement, Jeromy Burnitz, is batting .262 with 21 homeruns and 76 RBIs. Burnitz has 9 more strikeouts than Sosa, but Sammy has 150 less plate appearances.
