Purdue has a new starting running back

Redshirt freshman Kory Sheets has replaced senior Jerod Void as the first string back on the depth chart after Void suffered a dislocated shoulder in the Boilers' loss to Notre Dame.

So far this season, in a backup role, Sheets has carried the ball 38 times and gained 261 yards, which is just three yards less than Void. Sheets recorded his first 100-yard game against Minnesota and has five touchdowns on the ground.

I watched Sheets play against Notre Dame and he appears to have that big play ability that Void lacks. Him and Dorien Bryant should be fun to watch the next couple years. Too bad they will be the only ones that are fun to watch.

Purdue needs to lose the rest of their games to get better draft picks.
