Fantasy Football Update Week 4
In the keeper league, X-15 beat HollyWood Frenzy by a score of 71.80-60.73. Priest Holmes and Terrell Owens were the high scorers. Culpepper had another disappointing outing. He threw two more picks and fumbled once. X-15 is 4-0 and has won 20 consecutive games. The streak is in jeopardy this week because Priest Holmes, Randy Moss, Culpepper, Jeremy Shockey, and Mewelde Moore all have the week off. Luckily we face the 1-3 DawgPound who has LaMont Jordan sitting the week out.
In the re-draft league, The Intruders were defeated once again. We lost 81.90-61.42 to the Midland Jumbo Jets. The Intruders are now 1-3 and in 9th place out of 10 teams.
Injury Report: Cadillac Williams left the game early in the first quarter with a hamstring injury. It is unknown if he will be able to play this week. Luckily X-15 has his replacement, Michael Pittman. Culpepper revealed that he has been playing with a sprained medial collateral ligament and bursitis in his right knee. In 2001, Culpepper played 12 games with loose cartilage in his left knee before undergoing surgery. His current injury does not need surgery, he said, and most of the pain has come from a leaking bursa sac, which Culpepper said caused the bursitis.
After throwing 39 touchdown passes with just 11 interceptions in 2004, Culpepper has just four TD passes in four games this season with 10 interceptions.
He also has been sacked 20 times as the Vikings have started the season with a 1-3 record.
As a side note, I made it to the championship game of all three baseball leagues I was in. I only took home the championship in one of the three though.
