Mets trip Cubs

The Cubs lost in 11 innings to the Mets today by a score of 4-3. Hawkins blew yet another save by giving up a game tying 3-run shot in the bottom of the ninth. Equally craptacular were Sosa and Patterson, with a combined 7 strikeouts. The Cubs fall to 87-67. If the Giants win against the Dodgers tonight the Cubs WC lead will shrink to 1/2 game.
