Fifth-year kicker wins the game for Purdue

Casey Welch was called upon by Joe Tiller to kick a 18-yard field goal with 4:49 remaining in yesterday's game against Michigan State. Welch responded by making his first field goal since his high school days, giving the Boilers a 17-15 victory over the Spartans. The Boilers are now 6-4 and need one more win to become bowl eligible.
