Cubs make a deal with the devil

Jim Hendry struck a deal with Kenny Williams of the White Sox today sending David Aardsma and minor-leaguer Carlos Vasquez to the south side for left-handed reliever Neal Cotts.

The last time the Cubbies made a deal with the Sox it didn't work out so well for the north siders. The Cubs dealt Jon Garland for reliever Matt Karchner in 1998. Hopefully this one works out better.
