Former Purdue player turned commie?

I was going to write something witty about Purdue basketball producing an MVP candidate in a professional league until I found something much more disturbing...Katie Douglas submitted an application to play for Lithuania in the upcoming women's world championships. I think the US should deport her immediately if she likes Lithuania that much. That's un-American to want to play for another country in a world championship. Especially since she has no family ties to Lithuania. By the way, her application was denied by Lithuania.

No, but they were from 1944 to 1991. Since when has this blog been about facts?

Because she has no ties to the country except that she plays basketball in their league.
