Purdue football ends the season with a victory

The Purdue football team ended the disappointing season by trouncing Indiana, 41-14. The victory was Purdue's fourth straight over the hapless Hoosiers. The Boilers trailed 7-0 before erupting for 27 points in the second quarter. Kory Sheets lead the team with 137 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns. Purdue finished the season with a 5-6 record, missing a bowl game for the first time in Joe Tiller's nine year reign.
