Purdue wins season opener

The Boilers defeated the Wofford Terriers last night, 82-75. Freshman Nate Minnoy scored 25 points and senior Carl Landry poured in 22 points to lead the Boilers in scoring. Three freshmen - Marcus Green, Chris Lutz and Minnoy - started for Purdue. Another freshman, Korey Spates, was the first player off the bench. Freshmen combined to score 50 points in the win.
