More happy Purdue news

For those of you wondering, Stanford Keglar and Kevin Noel did not make the trip to Happy Valley on Saturday because they were suspended for the game by Joe Tiller. The word is that they were suspended because of a locker room skirmish. Purdue sports information director Tom Schott said the incident between Noel and Keglar took place Thursday and left Noel with a minor head injury. Schott characterized the incident as a "whipping around of towels kind of thing" but according to a story in Saturday's Journal and Courier, Keglar tackled Noel, who hit his head on an uncarpeted portion of the locker room and suffered a small cut. He also momentarily lost consciousness but was not hospitalized. Noel declined to press charges against Keglar. Sounds like that's the best tackle Keglar has made all season.
