Purdue wins home opener

The Boilers defeated Detroit tonight by a score of 66-56. Brandon McKnight and Matt Kiefer both scored 19 points to lead Purdue. The Boilers are now 1-1 and play Cincinnati on Saturday. The game will be televised on Comcast SportsNet Chicago.
