Bears win second game of the season

The Bears (2-5) beat the 49ers, who fall to 1-6, on Sunday night in front of a nationally televised audience by a score of 23-13. Krenzel threw a 44-yard bomb to Bernard Berrian on the first play from scrimmage to put the Bears up 7-0. The Niners offense was horrible with Ken Dorsey filling in for the injured Tim Rattay. I was expecting Barlow to have a huge day (he's on my fantasy team) because the Bears had given up at least 100 rushing yards to the last three running backs they faced, but he could only come up with just over 50. Nathan Vasher sealed the victory with a 71-yard interception return for a touchdown with 3:52 left in the game. The Bears play the Giants in NY next Sunday.
