Softball Week 2

Bring me the finest meats and cheeses as well as the Ryan-o-Meter because I went yard tonight. I was a pathetic 1-for-4 (including a foul-out) in the first game, but found a groove in the second game. I was 2-for-2 with a HR, triple, and a walk. In the field I made a couple great plays but choked on a couple routine plays. At least I didn't trip over the outfield fence trying to catch a flyball, right Mark? Adam scored on a single with a three-base error but unfortunately that's not good enough to get a meter on this blog. We ended up losing both games due to a lack of team hitting. Our record now stands at 1-3. We only lost 3 games all of last season.

I'll give the rest of the guys a chance to catch me next week because with the girls having a 4:30 game in Plymouth, it doesn't look like I'll make it to the church game at 6:00. Hopefully I can make it back in time for the second game of the doubleheader.

You can let it stand as a triple but the guy in left field picked up the ball and dropped it. Not saying you wouldn't have made it anyway, but you definitely wouldn't have been standing up.
