Mistrial in Vioxx case

A judge has declared a mistrial in the first federal Vioxx case after jurors were unable to reach a unanimous verdict. The mistrial means Merck, which already had a one and one record in Vioxx litigation, was unable to gain any momentum in its battle against thousands of other expected lawsuits related to the drug, which was withdrawn from the market last year after being linked to cardiovascular problems.

I'm glad to see this blog has finally returned to it's law and pharmacy roots. All that talk of how bad you are at fantasy football was getting old.
